Event duration September 05, 2024
Event location Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen, Denmark - ChronosHub is proud to announce that the first publisher, ACS Publications, has successfully gone live with their newly launched unified user experience, marking a significant milestone in their journey.

The product launch and first publisher going live comes less than a year after being acquired by the American Chemical Society (ACS). Working as an independent subsidiary, the rapid development and deployment underscore ChronosHub’s commitment to revolutionizing the publishing experience for authors and publishers alike.

A year of achievements
The new author interface, which was unveiled at the 2024 SSP Annual Meeting in Boston, MA, represents a major leap forward in enhancing the author experience across the publishing process.

"Our priority has always been to provide cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the publishing community and we're incredibly proud to have brought this vision to life so quickly," said Christian Grubak, Founder and Co-CEO of ChronosHub.  "Seeing our first publisher go live within a year of development is a significant achievement, and we’re excited about the positive impact this will have on the author experience."

Growing engagement and future developments
With thousands of users already active on this new part of the platform, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. The new author interface provides a unified, streamlined

experience that integrates all of a publisher's author-facing systems, allowing authors to view notifications and actions in one place.

Looking ahead, ChronosHub has ambitious plans to introduce even more features before year end, including submission and reviewer dashboards, further enhancing the platform and its capabilities for all stakeholders involved in the publishing process.

"Our platform offers publishers a way to modernize their systems without the need for a complete overhaul," added Grubak. "By putting an innovative layer on top of existing solutions, we help maximize their investments while delivering a superior experience to authors."
